The Ferry Ride

Our last day in Mombassa we took the ferry to another part of the city. I was excited to be on the water again, it looked so inviting. I never realized how much I loved living near water until I spent the last year without hardly ever seeing it! I love this picture! It was great because I was able to do some shopping and I got a great skirt and some bracelets, my favorite! Again, it was great not because we did anything special but just because it was great to be with friends and to go around and do stuff like hang out, have a coke or do a little shopping. It was not the best way to end this part of the trip or begin the next part!
