Can't have a braii without fire! Suama, Peter and Ileni helped a lot with the fire. Ileni was in charge of the wood cutting. He was so excited. He disappeared for a few minutes and then comes running to the braii with a machete in his hand, ready to go. Suama showed us how to melt the candle wax onto the wood so it would smother but still burn to cook the food. It was so fun and the meat was very African and very good! Baie lekker!
