Visitors
We had a group of visitors from North Carolina who were here for a weekend. Even though they were only here three days, they made a huge impact. The team spent time loving on the neighborhood kids, speaking with our Pastor, chatting with Linda and me and helping out at the soup kitchen. Brian and his wife Kristen are planning to come within the next year as a full time Youth Pastor at our church and the team that came with are checking the place out and will be helping him get sent on out here. We are super stoked to have them. It was a real blessing to have them for the weekend. Greg, one of the team mates, made a big impression on some of the youth and is now nicknamed "Grandfather." The kids had a great time with the frisbees and water balloons. Brian and Greg both were able to sit down with the youth and share with them some biblical truths and express their love for them. Joesph had a random opportunity to share the gospel with some kids and youth and was able to lead some of them to salvation. It was a blessing for Linda and me to just get to chat with some people from the states, share some of our experiences and of course the mac and cheese and tea's that Brian brought with them. The whole team was super encouraging and really touched the lives of the people around here.
(first and second picture) - Joesph sharing the gospel with a group of youth in the backyard. This was definately a divine moment led by the Spirit!
(third picture) - Brian and his team playing duck duck goose at children's church on Sunday afternoon. His wife Kristin also taught us some fun new songs to do with the kids!
(Fourth Picture) - Brian having a 'heart to heart' wih the youth on their last afternoon together. He did a great job of expressing his love for God and for the Youth. They are very excited to have Brian and Kristen and their family here full time.

Thanks for the encouraging words. We had our first Bible Study meeting since returning from Africa and it was great talking about the trip. I know that many expressed how God's purpose for them on the trip was to encourage you guys and to be able to just spend some good fellowship time with you. The trip had a great impact on us all.
Kristen and I are so excited about our return and long term service there with you.
Many Blessings!
