Since the last post...
It has been awhile since the last post so this may take a little time. God has been so good and so faithful and I am excited to share what He has been doing. The big news is just recently I have had Eden Bible Church commit to supporting me on a monthly basis. What a blessing! I have also received in the last few weeks more committed monthly supporters! God has used these blessings to really encourage me as I continue to raise support. Thank you for your prayers and encouragement, it is such a blessing.
I am writing this post from Colorado actually. I am here near Colorado Springs taking a training called PILAT. It is a language acquisition training. Basically it teaches me how to listen and how to form foreign words with my English mouth. It also gives a lot of techniques and ways to learn a language in a relevant way. Dan and Kara Baber took this course and highly recommended it and I can see why. It has been great so far but it is also a lot of work. We spend all day during the week in class and it is a lot to take in. There is a lot of information to put into my brain in just two weeks. We did get a break over the weekend and I went to Aspen with some friends from the training and we took a five mile hike up to the bottom of some mountains called the Maroon Bells. That's right, five miles up which meant five miles back down. It was worth it when we got to the top and saw the lake and the beautiful view. I have put some pictures from that hike on here. I was also able to visit a friends church and see the Denver zoo. It has been a great time of refreshing and learning and meeting more people who have a heart for missions. The stories around the dinner table are from around the world and I love it. I know this is kind of long so I will end it now. Below are some prayer requests and praises. Thanks everyone!
